We are thrilled to announce that Yahoo! will sponsor and host this
year's iPhoneDevCamp! Formed just a week after the launch of the
original iPhone device, this independent group meets every year to
promote the work of developers and designers for iPhone and iPod touch.
The event will feature a large gathering on Yahoo!'s Sunnyvale campus,
along with simultaneous Satellite events to connect developers around the world.
Yahoo! Inc. Sunnyvale, CA
July 31 - August 2nd, 2009
Cover Charge: $50
All fees will go toward the production of the event. iPhoneDevCamp is a not-for-profit organization, and Yahoo! is contributing the venue and event support throughout the weekend. We've been working behind the scenes with Yahoo! for months to make sure there is enough space, power, and networking for approximately 500 participants. Although there will be no actual "camping," (i.e. no tents on the Yahoo! lawn), participants are welcome all weekend, starting at 5pm on Friday and ending at 6pm on Sunday. See more detail in our Agenda.
This is going to be a blast! Check out some pictures of the space.
Please Note: iPhoneDevCamp is an event for iPhone Developers and Designers with some previous experience on the platform, either via Web or Native SDK. This is not a user event, nor a basic training opportunity. Participants are expected to bring their knowledge, and extend their skills with connections to other Developers and Designers.
Registration is now open. Please review travel information before registration. See also additional Sponsorship opportunities, or contact Dom for Volunteer opportunities. Note: Refunds will not be issued.
If you can't make it to Sunnyvale, CA, please check out our simultaneous Satellite events.
Can’t wait!

Update: Nettwerk recording artist BT
will perform at Yahoo! for the attendees of iPhoneDevCamp 3 on Friday,
July 31st. This outdoor performance is a special treat for on-site
attendees only, brought to you by our good friends at Medialets.
Brian “@BT” Transeau, known as a pioneer in the trance genre, has just shipped an iPhone App of his own called Sonifi. This app allows the user to control BT’s signature “stutter edit” technique and remix his latest single, Rose of Jericho.
We hope you’ll join us in Sunnyvale for this exclusive performance.
iPhoneDevCamp is a not-for-profit organization that gathers regularly to develop applications for iPhone and iPod touch using both the native SDK and web standards. The event format is "unconference" or Barcamp-style, featuring content from the participants themselves.
